Well, Katrina came and went through our area. There really wasn't that much effect in and around here as it was far enough west to not really cause any problems. There were a few power flickers and some gusty winds, but that is about the worst we got. Even the rain was not much to write home about. Unfortunately, I'm sure the same can not be said about the New Orleans area. I'm sure the area is quite devastated at this point. Lori and I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like to have everything just completely wiped away. We were kind of lamenting the fact that we never really got to see New Orleans either. We live close enough to drive, and had talked about doing it some time, but it seems that it will just never be the same now.
Not much else is really going on. Starting up practice for the Christmas concert allready this week and working hard on everything else as usual. Hope everyone else is good and having a blessed end to summer.
