Well after a long and hard deliberation, we settled on names for the Zebra finches. Lord, help our children. :) (Mom and Dad, you'll have to watch "Napoleon Dynamite")
We managed to find a local store in Niceville that actually had some finches, so we picked up the lovely couple this afternoon. We're a little concerned about LaFawnduh though. She seems to have a defunct head. We noticed when we got home that her left eye is recessed and her feathers are a little muffed under the eye. Looks like some of the other birds might have been picking on her. We're not sure if we are going to try and take her back and exchange her or not. I kind of think it givers her character. She's overcome adversity and gotten out of "The Store". No one's repressing her anymore! Power to the finches! Anyway, she's really the only one that chirps at this point also. Kip's too busy chatting online with babes all day.
